(Thank you, my good friends, for giving your opinion and letting me use it in the short essay)

When the last time have you gone to a real book store or browsed book online to get one? I do it from time to time. With the large amount of social media we are, in my opinion, losing the ability to think by ourselves (even tough social media brings people like us together in a group, which is extremely helpful) Many things are, so to speak, digested for us.

The speed, with which we run around and process the information, is increasing year after year. I think that books allow us to slow down, slow down and think, rest, solve a problem, escape the real world, amuse ourselves.

I asked my friends opinion on the topic and got the following answers:

- I think people need to read more books so they can explore their imaginative horizons. Screening media takes away those imaginations.

- Read more book for general development, to learn something new. But it depends on what kind of literature you read. You can read something easy, to relax, to escape. Anyway, every day you read something, but mostly it is in electronic form, articles, news, recipes, etc. Along the way, everything on the Internet is accompanied by pictures. With books, if interesting, I can read quickly and imagine things the way I want to do it.

- For me, reading helps me to get the things or stress off my mind. It motivates me to keep a positive attitude in all kind of situations. In my experience, some people read to expand their knowledge, others read to improve their proficiency in particular language.

- So that our brain would not age and stayed alive and flexible; so that life would not cease to be rich in colours!

- So that people do not lose touch with their roots and learn from past generations

Now, if you like the topic, please tell me “PEOPLE SHOULD READ MORE BOOKS BECAUSE …”
